Can the fire pit be placed indoor or outdoor?
Both Liquid Propane and Natural Gas firepits are created for outdoor use only. Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agency, or gas supplier. Installation and use must follow all local codes. Modification of the product will void any certification and warranty.
Am I able to control the flame of your fire pits?
All parts and pieces of the CROSSFIRE Burner are made from brass. Unlike other burners made from stainless steel, brass is corrosion resistant and will not rust, eliminating the need for replacement. We’re so confident the product will last; we offer a lifetime warranty on all brass products.
How high will the flame come off the fire pit unit?
The flame height varies depending on the BTU and also how much liquid propane/natural gas is flowing through the system. The patent-pending technology behind our CROSSFIRE Brass Burner uses a specific air-to-gas ratio at the point of combustion to produce a taller, brighter, fuller flame that resembles a natural, wood burning fire. We call this the Venturi Effect. Venturi Jet Technology generates high velocity gas flow and pulls more oxygen into the jet chamber, feeding the combination into the flame at the point of combustion. This causes the gas and oxygen mixture to shoot out of the jet at a high velocity as a super-charged flame, like water out of a fire hose.
What’s the radius of the heat of a fire pit?
The radius your fire pit will give off depends on many factors, including the BTU of the unit, the size of the fire pit vessel, the environment/weather, and how much liquid propane/natural gas you have flowing through the system. Most units are comfortably heating at a 2-6ft distance from the vessel, similar to a campfire.
