Will You Install Our Range Hood, And Do Your Provide Installation Hardware?
We do not offer range hood installation services. We recommend working with a local licensed contractor.
Also, because every range hood installation is unique and requires different and various hardware, we do not supply range hood installation hardware.
Please view our installation guides.
Can I send you my insert to install into your range hood?
Please do not send us your insert fan. Please send us the make, model, and specifications sheet; we will build the range hood to accommodate your insert fan if applicable. We call this our "Design to Fit" Service.
Where does the electrical need to be roughed in for the liner?
Our liners will have an 8" whip that can be hardwired or turned into a plug so you can place your connection where it works best for your project.
Does the range hood need to be installed into studs?
Range hoods need to be installed to secure studs or supports. Wall anchors can be used for additional support and vary depending on wall material and the weight of the installed range hood. We recommend working with a licensed contractor upon installation.

Aside From Placement, What Is The Difference Between A Wall Mount And An Island Mount Range Hood?
A wall mount range hood will be mounted directly against the wall. Both the back and top of the range hood are open to allow for venting from either location (through the ceiling or the back wall). We recommend hanging wall mount range hoods 30" - 36" above the cooking surface.
Island mount range hoods hang freely from the ceiling without attachments to cabinets or walls and are generally in the center of the kitchen, located over a cooking or prep island. Island mount range hoods are enclosed on all four sides and must be vented and attached through the ceiling.
