What is a BTU?
BTU is an acronym for British Thermal Unit. BTUs are the unit used to measure thermal (heat) energy -- the higher the BTU number, the more thermal (heat) energy the burner gives off.
How many BTU’s do I need?
The BTU is best determined by the fire-pit size; the larger the fire-pit, a higher BTU is recommended to ensure your flame matches nicely with your fire-pit vessel. We make this easy by offering you an ideal sized BTU based on the size fire-pit you choose.
